
I did not plan to start KnowBS. It started because my clients kept calling.
I spent over 15 years in corporate America. Started as a retail worker and worked my way up to Management. When I moved into SaaS sales I started working directly with business owners and the closer I got to them, the more I started seeing things I could not ignore.
I started giving them ideas on how to bring in more revenue. Not because it was my job. Because I came from corporate, I understood how structure works and how much it matters for any business to grow. The more money they made, the longer they stayed in business. So I started helping.
What happened next I did not plan for. My clients started calling me for advice. Picking my brain. Asking questions that went way beyond their original needs. I became their go-to person for everything. Then they started asking what it would cost to keep me on retainer. I started helping on the side not because I planned to, but because they kept asking.
And the more I got inside their businesses, the more I saw the same thing over and over.
Business owners who had been operating for 10, 15, 20 years and stayed exactly the same size. They were not bad at business. They just did not have the infrastructure. But what hurt more than that was the mindset that came with it. A belief that this was just how it was going to be. That structure and growth were for bigger companies. That being in business meant staying exactly where they were.
That is BS. And that is exactly why KnowBS exists.
That's when I realized what I was actually doing.
I rebranded. I built KnowBS around the work I was already doing because these business owners needed someone who had been inside their world, not someone who had studied it from the outside. Someone who understood merchant processing, compliance, lending, operational structure, and the specific reality of running a regulated or high-risk business without being shocked by any of it.
KnowBS means exactly what it sounds like. No BS.
I built this because I got tired of an industry that runs on false promises and big strategy decks that go nowhere. Honesty, trust, and communication are not values we put on a wall, they are how we operate every single day.
